 Rules for Roulette
Roulette is an easy and fun casino game. The Wheel used for Roulette is marked with the symbols “0” and “00” and numbers 1 through 36. The “0” and “00” are green and the numbers are colored red and black. Number and Color combinations offer a variety of options for betting. Wagers can be placed on individual numbers or groups of numbers.
Chips for roulette are different from other casino chips. Each player receives a different color chip and decides its value when they are purchased. Roulette chips may only be purchased in stacks of twenty. For example: if you would like your roulette chips to be worth $1 each, then you would purchase a stack for $20.
While players place their bets, the dealer spins the roulette ball opposite to the direction of the spinning wheel. Bets may be placed until the dealer announces “no more bets” as the ball begins to drop. When the ball falls into a number on the roulette wheel, the dealer places a marker on the winning number on the table layout and pays the winners.
